Priyanka Chopra unveils her first look poster from The Matrix: Resurrections, dons a space bun hairdo

It was about two months back when the first trailer for The Matrix: Resurrections was dropped by the makers. In the trailer, Priyanka Chopra Jonas made her first appearance and left the Internet in meltdown. Now, the actor has unveiled her first look poster from the upcoming film, much to the excitement of the fans. Priyanka shared her excitement while posting her first look on her social media pages.

In the poster, the actor is donning a different look which she has been never seen in before. She captioned her post as "And she’s here. Re-enter #TheMatrix 12.22.21."

Several celebrities dropped their exciting comments on Priyanka's poster, while her husband and American singer Nick Jonas liked the post.

Earlier, in a video from the sets of The Matrix: Resurrections, Priyanka was seen talking about the film. The actor said that it's this incredible, mystical, legendary universe that's been made with numbers and digits, but it's all about consciousness and cognition.

Although it has not been announced who Priyanka plays in the film, a common fan theory swirling around the internet claims she could be a grown-up version of Sati, the kid who was placed in the Oracle's care.

While sharing about being a part of the much-loved sci-fi franchise, Priyanka penned on her social media pages that they had her at "Neo and Trinity are back!". The actor recalled that her generation's cinema was defined by the Matrix trilogy. It was the benchmark, something they had all acted out and referred to throughout their lives.

As a result, Priyanka shared that in the vast cinematic pond that is The Matrix, she is "a small, excited little fish."

The actor is honoured and ecstatic to be a part of this legacy, as well as to have had the opportunity to work alongside Lana Wachowski and her wonderful, iconic cast.

The Matrix: Resurrections is set to hit the big screens on December 22, 2021.
