Priyanka Chopra will play adult Sati in The Matrix Resurrections, reveals poster

Priyanka Chopra is a name that is talked about a lot in Hollywood, after the star was part of a number of big hit movies. The actor’s latest project is the much anticipated The Matrix Resurrections.

A lot has been discussed about what her role will be in the fourth instalment of the fan-favorite franchise. A lot of the rumours suggested that she will be playing the role of an older Sati, an exile that was created without a purpose by programs Rama-Kandra and Kamala. 

Now following the release of a new poster in Korea for the movie, it is confirmed that this is indeed the role Chopra will be playing in the movie. The poster, which features the star, also introduces her character’s name as Sati.

Because Sati was created without a purpose and was close to deletion, The Oracle protects her in the hope that she will have a bigger role to play in shaping the world for both the machines and humans. The young Sati was played by Tanveer K. Atwal. 

While Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jada Pinkett Smith reprise their roles from the previous movies, The Matrix Resurrections also features Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris and Christina Ricci.

The fourth instalment in the sci-fi action thriller franchise is set to release in theatres on December 22.
