Dhanush and Priyanka Mohan's eagerly awaited Tamil film Captain Miller was released in theatres today

Tamil actress Priya Mohan has been receiving a lot of appreciation for her portrayal of Velmathi in Dhanush’s latest period action film, Captain Miller. Upon the film's theatrical release, the actress took to her social media page to share a note of gratitude in which she thanked well-wishers and fans.
Priyanka wrote that she is "extremely happy and grateful" to be part of Captain Miller. She mentioned that although the making of the film was "exhausting and tiring," the film holds a special place for all the memories and lessons she was able to receive. The actress wrote, “And finally the day has come where you all get to witness the magic of Captain Miller. I’m extremely happy and grateful to be part of such an exciting project and to have worked with one of the best teams”. She added, “No matter how exhausting or tiring the shoot was for all of us, this film is truly special for all the fond memories we’ve made and lessons I’ve learnt. I hope each of you enjoy the movie in theatres and love it as much as I loved being a part of it”.
Priyanka Mohan steals the show as Velmathi in Captain Miller
Captain Miller, which was released today (January 12), has opened to positive reception from critics and viewers who have particularly hailed Priyanka’s performance. The actress who plays Velmathi in the film has been getting a big thumbs up for her performance. They have called her "an upcoming talent with good potential."
Priyanka debuted in Tamil films alongside Suriya in the 2022 film Etharkkum Thunindhavan. The actress will be seen sharing screen space next with Nani in the Telugu film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and Jayam Ravi's Tamil film Brother.
