Priyanka Sarkar to debut in Bollywood with Sharib Hashmi

Priyanka Sarkar is going to work in Hindi films. She will pair up with the Bollywood actor Sharib Hashmi, famous for films and series like The Family Man, Tarla, Filmistan, and Vikram Vedha. Director Anik Choudhury will start his Hindi film The Zebras. Sharib and Priyanka will act there. Usha Bandyopadhyay will play a supporting role. She previously worked with Anik in films like Zharokh and The Tale Of A Santa.

The theme of The Zebras revolves around artificial intelligence in the fashion world and its outcome. Why such a name? The director said 'Every person has a black and a white side. The black and white are seen from the outside for a Zebra, but this does not happen for a man. However, everyone is black and white. Artificial intelligence extracts that aspect.' 

Priyanka said, “This is a unique and delicate subject. I found it interesting when I heard it. It tries to catch a side of the current fashion world. I play a model. Anik tries to show the effect of AI in the fashion field and how it becomes relevant. I hope the work will be interesting when it goes to the floor.”

The director said that this was his dream come true when he got a chance to work with Sharib Hashmi. He is also eagerly waiting to work with Priyanka. Kerala's Yulin Productions will produce the film. This will be their first Hindi film.
