Mithun Chakraborty and Dev’s family drama Projapati is all set to release before Christmas. On Saturday, the film team hosted a gala music launch event at a city mall. The entire musical team – Nachiketa Chakraborty, Anupam Roy, Surojit Chatterjee, Rathijit Bhattacharya, and Prasen were also present at the launch. The songs were also performed live on the occasion, with loud cheers from the audience.
The very first song of the movie Tumi Amar Hero is already dropped and loved by the audience. Written, composed, and sung by Anupam Roy, this song speaks about a beautiful bond between a father and son. The song Bom Bhole, which is sung, written, and composed by Surojit Chatterjee, is also gaining popularity with each passing day. The tuneful title track of the movie is sung by Rathijit Bhattacharya, Ankita Bhattacharya, and Snigdhajit Bhowmik and is soulfully penned by Prasen.
“The true beauty of Projapoti’s music is that it connects people across cultures and generations. Each song of Projapati forms an integral part of the story. They carry a message that will make you think and feel. The emotions behind the lyrics will surely grab the audience deeply”, said Atanu.
Meanwhile, Avijit said, “The songs of Projapoti are the soul of the movie and help in taking the narrative forward. The songs are bound to leave a lasting impression on your mind. The composers, lyricists & singers have all done a great job together. It feels great to see their work being appreciated by everyone who has heard the songs.”
The music of Projapati, released by Sa Re Ga Ma, will be available across various major digital platforms. The movie will be released on December 23, 2022, across leading standalone theatres and multiplexes across West Bengal.
