Nag Ashwin's upcoming film, tentatively titled Project K, is one of the most anticipated films of the coming year. The reason for the same is the epic collaboration of stalwarts, namely Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone. The multilingual film is likely to be filmed in Telugu and Hindi, much to the excitement of the fans. In the latest news, one more actor has joined the cast of Project K, and it's none other than Disha Patani.

Yes, the Malang actor took to her Instagram story and made a subtle announcement about being a part of the film. Patani shared a photo of the goodies she received from Vyjayanthi Movies and a note that read, "Dear Disha, Project K welcomes you! We are thrilled to have you onboard."

Meanwhile, Ashwin had previously stated of Bachchan's role that he considers himself fortunate and thankful that the legendary actor chose Project K from among the various options available to him. The filmmaker feels it will be a full-length part that will do credit to the legend that he is.

The technical group includes cinematographer Dani Sanchez Lopez and composer Mickey J. Meyer, and mentoring by filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao.

The crew has already begun shooting the film, and the first few schedules with the leads were recently completed. A source had earlier told The Times of India that the crew couldn't shoot the full film in one go, so they had to shoot for seven to eight days every month. Because the film is science fiction, it includes devices and properties that take a long time to create. So the team executes the shoot every month after having the set and the property ready. As a result, the shoot's 80-90 days have been broken up over a few days each month.
