Project K: Disha Patani to perform a hot number in Prabhas–Deepika Padukone starrer

Project K is one of the most awaited films in which Prabhas and Deepika Padukone will appear on screen for the first time. The film also has Amitabh Bachchan in the pivotal role. The excitement for the film is getting higher with all the new updates from the film. And now, on such update will add up to the fan excitement. The recent reports state that Project K will also include Disha Patani, it was announced earlier this week. It was unclear, though, just what capacity. However, if recent claims are to be believed, the actress has been brought on board for a sensual dance number.

Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying, “Yes, Disha has been roped in for a special track in Project K. The track will be a social one (and it will) feature Disha at her best as she sizzles on screen. The song will be filmed with Prabhas. It is an upbeat and peppy number that will be high on dance."

The source also discloses that the aforementioned song will be one of Project K's most expensive song sequences. The track, which is being filmed in Ramoji Filmcity, will have multi-crore sets and high-end technology props from Anand Mahindra's company. It's interesting to note that, in addition to the music, Disha will reportedly play a significant part in the movie's flashback sequences.

Project K marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. A number of renowned stars from the South's film industry will also make cameo appearances in the film. This much anticipated Nag Ashwin film, which is now in pre-production, is slated to debut on January 12 of the following year.
