Project K, a sci-fi thriller now under production starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, is already one of the most anticipated films of 2024. The movie, which cost over Rs 500 crore to produce, will have a huge January 12 international release as a festive treat for Sankranthi.
And now according to recent rumours, Project K producers are in talks with iconic actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan. Kamal Haasan has been approached with an opportunity to portray the antagonist in the Prabhas-led film Project K, which also features Amitabh Bachchan in a significant part.
The reports also started revolving that if all goes according to plan, Kamal Haasan will film his parts for about 20 days. The reports further added that he received a huge Rs 150 crore in compensation for his participation.
However, it is claimed that the rumours regarding his pay are untrue. Our sources indicate that this story is false and that nothing of the such has actually occurred.
Meanwhile, with director Shankar, Kamal Haasan is currently filming for his forthcoming movie, Indian 2. The movie is probably going to be released in theatres later this year or early next.
Project K is a sci-fi action movie that is directed and written by Nag Ashwin wrote and directed. It is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone play the key roles in the movie. In the movie, Amitabh Bachchan will play a significant part. He just suffered a rib fracture while filming the film. However, the megastar is now doing well and reportedly resumed working on the project.
As previously known, Project K is scheduled for a big cinematic debut on January 12. In Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City, a futuristic set has been built for the movie.
