Project K: Santosh Narayanan replaces Mickey J Meyer in the Prabhas, Deepika Padukone starrer

Prabhas is doing multiple projects in his career and one among them is Project K being directed by Nag Ashwin. The film is in its production stage and has Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan playing key roles in the film. Ashwini Dutt, the veteran producer in Tollywood is helming this film on his prestigious Vyjayanthi Movies banner. The film will have a Pan-World release on the 12th of January 2024.

Now, as per our sources, the music director of the film, Mickey J Meyer has been replaced from the project. The news is that Santosh Narayan of Kabali fame has been roped in place of Mickey. The reasons for this sudden change are not yet out but Ashwini Dutt has confirmed that Mickey is out of the project and Santosh has taken over Project K.

Not many know but Mickey J Meyer has composed music for the films Nag Ashwin, Yevade Sumbramanyam, and Mahanati. He, being replaced is a big blow to the film say the industry insiders. Santosh Narayan is a big name in Tamil and has composed music for films like Kabali and Nani's Dasara. The official announcement of this changeover will be out soon.

Project K is being made on a mammoth budget of over 400 crores. Special sets have been laid for this film in RFC. Prabhas will be seen as a superhero in this film which was launched two years back. The camera work and VFX are going to be a special highlight of the film say the makers. Only time will tell how much Santosh Narayan will live up to the hype created by this film.
