Recently, Jeon Jungkook of BTS used Weverse to ask his ARMY not to gift him things to his home. Fans were already horrified to find that someone knew his address, but now it has come to light that the person has begun threatening the Idol with death after he declined their meal offer.

ARMY, who call that person 'sasaeng' (an obsessive fan who stalks or engages in other behaviour constituting an invasion of the privacy of Korean idols) has sent screenshots of their threats to Hybe Labels urging them to take action before something negative occurs.

The hashtag #ProtectJungkook and the phrase "TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY" quickly gained popularity on Twitter after the sasaeng announced on Instagram that they intended to assassinate the K-pop singer in his home.

Even worse, they went to Jungkook's house looking for them but were not there. They are now asking for the artist's location in an effort to find him.

ARMY has been sending emails and tagging BigHit and Hybe continuously to make sure their Idol is protected.

Discretion: The Tweets could be triggering

As of right now, neither Jungkook nor BigHit have commented on the alleged plot to harm the K-pop sensation. Some, however, think that the first alleged attempt, which fortunately was unsuccessful, may have been proof that they are already aware of the problem.

When it comes to South Korean idols, stalking is a huge concern, and BTS has dealt with this problem for a while. According to Mashable, Jimin reportedly received death threats before BTS's concert in Busan in 2022.
