PS Mithran to direct Chiranjeevi's next, here's what we know

High on the success of Waltair Veerayya, Chiranjeevi is in no mood to slow down. He is doing back-to-back films and is now busy shooting for his new film Bholaa Shankar in the direction of Meher Ramesh. Keerthy Suresh plays his sister in the film and Tamannah is paired romantically opposite him.

Well, we were the first ones to report that Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sushmita Konidela will be producing a film with her dad. Now, the news has been confirmed and what's special is that none other than PS Mithran who made the super hit film Sardar with Karthi has been confirmed to direct this film. Apparently, Chiranjeevi liked the script narrated by BVS Ravi and gave the nod. This will be the first time that Mithran will direct the megastar.

Sushmita Konidela is also in films and worked as a stylist for her dad for the last few years. She also turned producer a few years back and has made a few web series. Her first feature film, Sridevi Shoban Babu was released last month and ended as a big flop at the box office. This is her biggest film to date for her which she is producing with her father. An official confirmation will be made soon.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi is on the lookout for relatively young directors and will showcase him in a new avatar. The manner in which he performed in Waltair Veerayya won the hearts of many. The film made over 130 crores at the box office and became megatar Chiranjeevi's biggest hit in his career.
