Psych Siddhartha out on OTT: Where to stream Shree Nandu's romantic drama

Shree Nandu is a very talented actor and has been in the industry for over a decade now, but he has yet to score a single hit as a solo lead. He pinned a lot of hopes on his last film, Psych Siddhartha, to make a comeback of sorts. The romantic drama hit theaters on January 1, 2026, and ended up a disaster at the box office.

Varun Reddy directed the film, which had a very good story, but the cartoonish presentation did not go down well with the audience. The film faced heavy trolling after its theatrical release. 

However, Shree Nandu’s performance was appreciated by many. The biggest shock in the film is that his lover leaves him and gets married to his close friend, and this aspect was portrayed well.

The story revolves around a man who is dejected in love and later meets a married woman with a child. How he reforms himself from being a drunkard to a responsible person forms the crux of the film.

Psych Siddhartha gets trolled for its vulgar scenes

The makers promoted the film aggressively, and director Varun Reddy spoke highly about the bold sequences. While some sections of the audience found these scenes vulgar, the youth seemed to enjoy them. Overall, Psych Siddhartha failed to click at the box office. The film was inspired by Arjun Reddy, and though the director tried to make it bolder and more realistic, it backfired.

Yamini Bhaskar makes a comeback with Psych Siddhartha

There is a lot of curiosity to see how the film fares on OTT, as a section of the audience did not watch it in theatres. Yamini Bhaskar played the female lead in the film, marking her comeback to Telugu cinema after a long gap. She played the role of a single mother and delivered a solid performance.

On the other hand, Sri Nandu’s other film Dandora, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video(OTTplay Subscribers can watch the film with a special top op option), has earned him praise for his performance.
