Puli Meka OTT release date: When and where to watch the show starring Aadi Saikumar, Lavanya Tripathi

Aadi Saikumar, whose recent films Top Gear, Crazy Fellow have indicated his resurgence as a performer, is testing new waters with his next project, Puli Meka. Besides him, Puli Meka also marks the digital debut of his co-star Lavanya Tripathi, last seen in the madcap comedy Happy Birthday. Created by popular writer Kona Venkat for leading OTT platform ZEE5, Puli Meka is a cop thriller.

Puli Meka is produced by Kona Film Corporation in association with ZEE5. The web series is directed by Kona’s associate K Chakravarthy Reddy, best known for Gopichand’s drama Pantham. Raja Chembolu, Siri Hanumanth, Suman, Goparaju Ramana, Spandana Palli and Srinivas too essay crucial roles in the web series whose shoot was wrapped up in the second half of 2022.

In a promo video announcing the premiere, the lead actors Aadi, Lavanya, Raja Chembolu, Siri Hanumanth are seen discussing the story with writer Kona Venkat and state their excitement to be a part of it. Puli Meka is all set to premiere on ZEE5 on February 24. Ram Charan, who’ll next be seen in RC15, his collaboration with director Shankar, will launch the teaser on February 17.

The show revolves around a series of cops who’re after a psychopath who’s sending shockwaves among citizens in Hyderabad. The peculiarity with the killer here is that he’s killing a series of cops, another reason why the department is taking the case more seriously. There’s an astrological dimension to the story as well, the makers revealed in a media statement.

Ram K Mahesh is the cinematographer for show while Brahma Kadali is the production designer. Chota K Prasad is the editor of Puli Meka, whose story is written by Kona Venkat and Venkatesh Kilaru. Neeraja Kona is the costume designer. PRAVEEN LAKKARAJU is the composer for the show while Sree Jo is the sole lyricist.
