The team of the upcoming dark comedy film Pulimada , directed by AK Sajan and starring Joju George and Aishwarya Rajessh, has released a first look poster. The poster was released through the social media pages of Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Kalyani Priyadarshan.

The poster features Joju holding Aishwarya's hand; both of them are dressed in wedding attire. Joju looks anxious and it looks like they are trying to run away from something.
About the film
The shooting of the film was completed last year and the makers are releasing the posters of the films, hinting at an immediate release. The title poster released earlier had the tagline, 'The Scent of a Woman'.
In an interview with OTTplay before the filming began, Sajan explained that the movie centres on two characters from different backgrounds. Joju plays a rural migrant farmer. His life changes after he meets an urban girl who is raised in Abu Dhabi.
The cast and crew of the film
Along with Aishwarya and Joju, the film also stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Lijomol Jose, Johny Antony, and Jaffer Idukki. Director Jeo Baby also stars in the film that is shot in Wayanad and is mounted on a large scale.
Sajan is known for films like Asuravithu, Neeyum Njanum, and Mammootty's Puthiya Niyamam. Pulimada marks the comeback of veteran cinematographer Venu. The film is bankrolled by Einstein Zak Paul and Rajesh Damodaran under the banner Einstein Media and Land Cinemas. Edited by the director himself, the music is handled by Ishaan Dev.
Joju's other projects
Meanwhile, Joju will appear in a lead role in Pulimada after the psychological thriller Iratta. Iratta is a police procedural film in which the actor essayed the dual role of twins. The film, helmed by Rohit MG Krishnan, received critical acclaim after its OTT release.
Joju will next be seen in Antony that is helmed by Joshiy, in which he will be seen alongside Nyla Usha and Chemban Vinod Jose.
