The director has already finished filming Liger and plans to wrap up Jana Gana Mana at a quick pace

Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh had a great return to form with with his last directorial iSmart Shankar, starring Ram Pothineni, Nidhhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh. The director's next film, Liger, a boxing drama starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday and sporting legend Mike Tyson, needs very little introduction. While the filming of Liger is complete, the pan-Indian project will hit theatres across the globe on August 25.
After Liger, as announced by the director himself, he will be working on his dream project Jana Gana Mana under his home banner Puri Connects. The film is rumoured to star Vijay Deverakonda and Jahnvi Kapoor in the lead and is expected to finish at a quick pace that the filmmaker is generally known for. Jana Gana Mana will have a huge star cast, top-class technicians and will also have a release in multiple languages like Liger.
Now, the director has revealed that he will be making an international project after Jana Gana Mana. The details of this untitled project aren’t out yet but what we know is that it will also be bankrolled under Puri Connects. Puri Jagannadh is set to produce all these movies, in collaboration with Charmme Kaur. The script work of Jana Gana Mana and the international project is complete.
An official announcement of both the projects, the cast, crew will be out soon. Puri Jagannadh was also seen recently on Unstoppable, Nandamuri Balakrishna's talk show on aha, where he appeared alongside Charmee Kaur and Vijay Deverakonda.
