Pushpa 2: Good news for Allu Arjun fans, here's when the sequel’s shoot will kickstart | Exclusive

Pushpa: The Rise made Allu Arjun a pan-India star and gave him a new superstar status altogether. Now, all eyes are on the sequel of the film. Until now, there has not been enough information about the shoot dates as the pre-production has been happening for a long time and director Sukumar and his team are working extra hard to ensure the film lives up to the hype that the first part created.

Mythri Movie Makers, the production house has doubled the budget for the sequel, and that is the reason, there has been a delay in the shoot as the film is being mounted on a huge scale. On the other hand, fans have been dying to know the shoot update and OTTplay has exclusive info about the shoot dates.

We have spoken to one of the key members of the Pushpa team and they have revealed to us that the shoot will start on January 7 in a specially erected set in Hyderabad. Once the schedule starts, it will go on for two weeks. The source also adds that there won't be gaps between schedules as the dates of the artistes are limited. Initially, it will be all solo scenes of Allu Arjun that will be filmed during this schedule. The star has worked hard on his look for the sequel and we hear that there will be plenty of body shots in the sequel.

Three songs have already been composed by Devi Sri Prasad and one of them is a sultry item number, which we hear is going to be better than 'Oo Antava Mava'. A star heroine from Hindi cinema has also been locked for the same. All this is already making Pushpa 2 a hot property and we cannot wait to see what Allu Arjun has in store for us this time around.
