Pushpa 2 - Janhvi Kapoor approached for a special song in the Allu Arjun-starrer, details inside

The shooting of the Allu Arjun starrer, Pushpa 2 is happening at a brisk pace in Hyderabad and news about the film's special item number has now gone viral in the film circles. News is making the rounds that the hot and happening actress, Janhvi Kapoor has been approached to do a special song in the film.

The discussions about the pay and other aspects are being looked at as of now. Sometime back, we at OTTplay reported that the makers were not that keen to shoot the song anytime soon. But once Janhvi Kapoor's name came into the picture, things changed and talks reached a final stage. It will be really good to see Janhvi Kapoor shaking a leg with Allu Arjun.

Going back in time, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was part of the special song, Oo Antava Mava in Pushpa- The Rise and there was news that she will be part of the sequel as well. But we also reported that Samantha refused to be a part of the sequel.

Janhvi Kapoor is famous for her bold looks on social media and will be a great addition to the film. As she is making her debut with Jr NTR's Devara and will be a part of the Ram Charan-Buchi Babu film, her presence will add a great deal of hype to Pushpa 2.

Sreeleela, Samantha Ruth Prabhu rejected Pushpa 2

Sometime back there was also news that Telugu heroine, Sreeleela was also offered the part but as she demanded Rs 2 crore, the makers opted out and now the ball has fallen in Janhvi's court. We need to see if she okays the part and comes on board for Pushpa 2.

The action drama has music by DSP and is all set to hit the screens on August 15, 2024. Pushpa 2 also has Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya Bhardwaj, Sunil, and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
