Pushpa 2 Kerala box office collection day 4: When it completed the first weekend of release, Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s film emerged as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of recent times. However, things are quite different for Pushpa 2: The Rule in Kerala, which has been considered the leading man’s biggest market in South India after the Telugu states. As per the reports, Pushpa 2 failed to touch the Rs. 15 crore mark at the Kerala box office with its first weekend collections.

According to the latest updates from the trade experts, Pushpa 2: The Rule’s first weekend (four days) collection at the Kerala box office stands at Rs. 13.15 crore. It is a highly disappointing collection for the Pushpa sequel considering the film’s massive pre-release hype, and Allu Arjun’s extraordinary stardom in Kerala. However, it is now safe to assume that the negative reviews have made a severe impact on the film, and its performance in the state.

As per the latest updates, Pushpa 2: The Rule has now fallen flat at the Kerala box office and has a rare chance to redeem itself in the upcoming days. According to trade experts, Allu Arjun’s film needs to collect over Rs. 60 crore to achieve a break even in Kerala. This seems nearly impossible, considering the current status of Sukumar directorial, at the box office. The Malayalam cinema audiences are clearly unimpressed with the film’s making, excessive runtime, and creative choices made with the characters.

If things proceed at the same rate, Pushpa 2: The Rule might not be able to cross the Rs 25 crore mark at the Kerala box office, by the time it completes the lifetime run. Even though the distributors were hoping that the Sukumar directorial would pick up at the box office with its Sunday collections, things are not favorable for the film. In that case, it is also safe to assume that Pushpa 2 will not break the collection record set by Baahubali 2, at the Kerala box office.
