Srivalli from the latest Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise has been one of the sensational songs of the season. Featuring Allu and Rashmika, the song and the visuals have been going to places, with even the international celebrities recreating the dance step of the actor. While the original Telugu song, sung by Sid Sriram, has become a rage, the Hindi version by Javed Ali is nothing less than a record-breaker.

The singer is awestruck by the song’s popularity and said he never expected such a welcome, while talking to Hindustan Times. “I’m getting many more offers now,” he said. Besides receiving messages from abroad, he also gets a lot of appreciation from popular vocalists including Richa Sharma and Sujatha. The singer seems to hit many likes, shares and views on social media as well, which is also a mode of measuring success today.

Talking about working on the song, the singer said it was the first time he experimented so much with a single song. Though he didn’t take the pressure of singing for a superstar, he revealed he had made some stanzas aggressive, to match up to Allu’s character. He also added that he had undergone a voice modulation for the song, and has blended three different textures.

Even after months, Srivalli stands fresh in minds of people, even though many other good romantic tracks have come out. Ali said this is for the first time in a while that he is seeing such a huge craze for a romantic song.

Meanwhile, Pushpa: The Rise is an action drama film, helmed by Sukumar. The film was released last December in Telugu, and in dubbed versions of Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. It also stars Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay Gosh. The film is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
