Pushpa: The Rise: Watch Allu Arjun transform into the daring Pushpa Raj in the new BTS video

Pushpa: The Rise is still riding the wave of awe and appreciation from fans, who can’t seem to get enough of Allu Arjun’s incredible and whistle-worthy performance. The makers recently gave a peek behind the curtain to show just how Arjun transformed into the fearless Pushpa Raj, in a BTS video.

The short clip, which viewers can watch on Allu Arjun’s official Youtube channel, shows the meticulous work that went behind in creating Arjun’s heroic, larger-than-life avatar. Viewers can see the actor patiently sit in the makeup chair, as a team of experts get to work on him to get the vision of Pushpa just right. From his hair to his makeup and wardrobe, Arjun is given a full work-up from top to toe, and we can also see a team adding prosthetics to get Pushpa’s features just right too, including his iconic scar. And at the end, we see Arjun sealing the deal, giving a flash of his character’s trademark hardcore glance.

Ever since its release, the film has been raking in the numbers, both during its theatrical run and its continuing streak on OTT, making it one of the biggest hits of the country.

The film is directed by Sukumar and bankrolled under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media. In addition to Arjun, the film also features Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ajay and Ajay Ghosh.
