Pushpa: The Rise with Allu Arjun in the lead hit theatres across the country and has received a good response from the fans. As the movie continues churning out box office numbers, the producers say that the second part of the movie will be even bigger and better.

“Part 2 will be grander and massier. Everything has been carefully set up in Part 1 and Part 2 will take the story forward seamlessly. We’re really excited to show you what’s in store,” says Naveen Yerneni, one of the producers.

He also said that this is their first collaboration with Allu Arjun and second blockbuster with director Sukumar after Rangasthalam and that while they expected the project to do good, the response from across the states and languages is heartening to see.

Producer Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili also added that the filming of Pushpa: The Rule began in March and is going to be even bigger and while the filming of both the movies has taken a long time, it will be worth the wait.

The action drama that tells the tale of the rise of Pushpa Raj, a woodcutter into a prominent figure in the illegal red sandalwood smuggling ring, is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili under Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media.

While Allu Arjun essays the titular lead, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Dhananjaya, Ajay Ghosh, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Rao Ramesh.

The pan-Indian movie was released across the country in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi and has received positive responses from fans across all the states and is doing extremely well at the box office, smashing the records of Yash’s KGF.
