Actor Anand Deverakonda, his brother, star performer Vijay Deverakonda and their parents had paid a visit to Tirumala over the previous weekend while travelling in a chartered flight. Anand adopted a unique strategy to promote his next film Pushpaka Vimanam during the journey. He shot various moments of their family time over the phone, right from his father trying to calm his mother's nerves as the flight took off to throwing a glimpse of a conversation he had with Vijay Deverakonda about Pushpaka Vimanam.

While Anand complained that his elder brother Vijay is always busy these days, the latter replied, "I am busy promoting your movie (referring to Pushpaka Vimanam)," with his trademark wit. The family prayed for the film's success at the temple. Anand Deverakonda, who plays a government teacher in the film, is confident that it is a full-on entertainer that'll keep audiences engaged throughout. Geeth Saini, Saanve Megghana are cast as female leads in Pushpaka Vimanam whose supporting cast also comprises Sunil, Naresh and Harsha Vardhan.
