During an interview with The Cue, he discussed his opinions about OTT platforms, stating that there is an audience even in Kashmir who have seen his film and he was quite surprised by that. He believes OTT platforms have removed the barriers of language and geography and it is evident by the way Indians have been consuming international content like Korean shows. According to him, releasing films on OTT platforms is a blessing since it reaches people all over the world, who understand and respect the art. He also says that it allows viewers with more freedom of choice when it comes to content.

The actor further spoke about the trend of pan-India films. He said he is not in the tag, ‘Pan-India film’. He is currently quite pleased with the direction, Malayalam films are taking.

He went on to say that the Hindi film business pays a lot of attention to Malayalam cinema since it is much ahead of its time. According to him, prominent performers in the Hindi film industry has limitations, but young Malayalam actors are more flexible and experienced than Bollywood actors. And he thinks that the audience is and will continue to believe in unusual and experimental material.

Meanwhile, Puzhu, directed by debutante Ratheena PT, stars Parvathy Thiruvothu as the female lead. A part of the OTTplay review reads, "The story takes some time to kick off, but once it does, it keeps you glued to the seat until the end."
