Malayalam film, Qalb, is all set to be available on the digital space. According to sources, the romantic drama, starring debutantes Ranjith Sajeev and Neha Nazneen in the main roles, will be streaming on Saina Play.
The film's straightforward but poignant story won praise when it made its theatrical debut in January. Those who didn't see it in theatres are excited for its online release. According to reports, Qalb will be available on the platform starting on September 13 for Onam. It will only be accessible in Malayalam, though.
Many films have recently been added to this well-liked regional OTT site. On August 27, Pattaapakal went live on the platform. When Prappeda (Hawk's Muffin) made its premiere on Saina Play on August 2, it garnered positive reviews due to its intriguing plot and subtle historical and political overtones. Vayassethrayayi Muppathi, a comedy-drama, also started being shown on the same portal on July 19. Furthermore, the political thriller Higuita is now available for streaming on Saina Play.
In this film, Siddique, Lena, and Jaffar Idukki all had significant roles. Among the supporting cast members of the movie are Surjith, Sarasa Balussery, Athira Patel, Ambi, Manohari Joy, Shemeer, Jassim Hasim, Abu Salim, Sanoop Kumar, and Karthik Sankar (Kadal Machan).
The audience gave the main characters in the movie a lot of praise for their chemistry. But it didn't make an impact at the box office or bring a sizable audience to the theatres. The young man and his father, who run a cafe at Dolphin Beach in Alappuzha, are the primary focus of Qalb. The son thinks that by marrying a foreigner, he will be able to travel to a far-off place. The film's main plot centres on how an unexpected girl enters his life and forever changes his priorities.
Qalb is bankrolled by Vijay Babu in collaboration with Fragrant Nature Creations under the Friday Film House banner. Suhail M Koya and Sajid Yahiya wrote the film's script. For Qalb, Prakash Alex, Vimal Nasser, and Nihal Sadiq wrote the soundtracks.
