Not very long ago, Oscar-winning writer and director Quentin Tarintino had announced that he will retire after his tenth film. However that does not seem to be the case anytime soon.

While talking to host Joe Rogan on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, Quentin revealed a potential for a Kill Bill Vol. 3 hasn't hit a dead end.

The director, who is known for his famous films like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Once Upon in Hollywood, Inglorious Bastards etc., professed his interest in Uma Thurman reprising her role as the badass bride in the classic revenge thriller saga.

He also stated that he would like to cast Uma Thurman’s daughter, Maya Hawke, who has gained popularity since her time starring in the hit sci-fi show Stranger Things, in a mother-daughter role. The director, who is considered as one of the revolutionists in Hollywood, feels that the chemistry between the two would be great.

He showed his interest in revisiting the Kill Bill world and the characters 20 years later. The renowned director said, "I think it’s just revisiting the characters twenty years later and just imagining the bride and her daughter, Bebe, having 20 years of peace, and then that peace is shattered." He added that subsequently, the mother-daughter duo would have to be on the run.

Quentin had floated this idea in the past as well. In 2019, he told Andy Cohen that, “I wouldn’t want to come up with a cockamamie adventure. She doesn’t deserve that. The Bride has fought long and hard. Now I have an idea that could be interesting. I wouldn’t do it for a little bit… it would be at least three years from now. It’s in the cards.”

It isn’t conclusive if Uma Thurman would reprise her role since she had fallen out with the filmmaker over the stunts she performed in Kill Bill. The actor, however, professed her interest in working with the director again, even though the stunts had left permanent damage to her body.

It appears like Quentin is not retiring anytime soon. Previously the filmmaker had announced that he would like to pen a book or two post his retirement.
