With Srijit Mukherjee’s Baishe Srabon (2011) pretty much kickstarting the second innings of snazzy thrillers, filmmakers like Arindam Sil (Ebar Shabor) or more recently, Birsa Dasgupta (Mukhosh) have taken up the mantle and ensured audiences are treated with edge-of-the-seat films.
