Born as Sweety Shetty, she became popular by her stage name Anushka Shetty after the release of her debut feature Super in 2005. Since then, she has appeared in more than fifty films, winning a Nandi Award, a Tamil Nadu State Film Award, and three Filmfare Awards. Her major films include Arundhati (2009), Vedam (2010), Singam (2010), Singam II (2013), Rudramadevi (2015), and most notably the two-part Baahubali series (2015-17).
