SonyLIV, the sports streaming giant, brings you a unique and exciting contest for school students between classes IX and XII. Quizzer of the Year (QOTY) is a Pan-Indian quiz challenge mega event, spanning an entire calendar year. A mass-participative, interactive and engaging platform for quiz enthusiasts with several exciting stages, beginning with an app-based digital property and culminating on television and web.

Quiz is one of the most celebrated games in India. No matter from whichever state or institute you are, quiz games can be attended by anyone. Hence, keep an eye on SonyLIV, as Quizzer of the Year for the academic session of 2024-2025, which begins from April 15, 2024.
What is all about Quizzer of the Year?
QOTY is not just a quiz event, it's an adventurous show that will ignite the love for learning new things in young minds. The program is created by the legendary Indian quiz master, Siddhartha Basu, known for his captivating style of attacking students with challenging questions. The interesting part is, the expertise of Anita Kaul Basu and the Tree of Knowledge Digital (Digitok) team, known for their innovative educational experiences, have joined hands with Basu. Together, they have crafted QOTY, a platform that promises to spark curiosity, challenge young minds, and make learning an exciting quest.
What are the prizes?
QOTY has 5 rounds - Round 1: QOTY Daily, Round 2: QOTY Select, Round 3: QOTY City I, Round 4 - QOTY City II, and Round 5 - QOTY Finals. Participants can win daily prizes, such as gift cards and merchandise, by answering questions correctly, weekly prizes such as laptops and tablets, by answering questions correctly and scoring high in the weekly leaderboards, Monthly prizes such as smartphones and scholarships, by answering questions correctly and scoring high in the monthly leaderboards, and grand prizes for the QOTY are an educational scholarship of Rs. 1 crore (approximately $130,000) and the title of Quizzer of the Year.
Last year, SonyLIV announced its collaboration with QOTY. Participants can directly take part in the game show through SonyLIV official website. QOTY provides them with a platform to test their abilities and knowledge against their peers from across the country.
