Last evening, Priya Mani revealed her first look from the upcoming pan-Indian film Quotation Gang, in which she, reportedly, plays a contract killer. Directed by Boxer-maker Vivek Kumar Kannan, the film revolves a group of smugglers. Speaking to us earlier, Priya had said, “In Quotation Gang, directed by Vivek, I play a contract killer. The subject revolves around a group of smugglers. Although the primary language is Tamil, this will be released as a pan-Indian film and has actors like Jackie Shroff and Sunny Leone also on board.”

The first look that Priya revealed is quite gruesome and appears that her character, the contract killer Shakuntala has taken quite a beating, what with a bloodied face and near-shut eye. The actress had earlier said that she would resume shooting for the film in February.

Meanwhile, Priya, who was last seen in the aha film Bhamakalaapam, has a string of films ready for release, including Maidaan with Ajay Devgn, Dr 56 (Kannada). “There’s Maidaan with Ajay Devgn sir, which should come out by mid-2022. Ajay sir is the coach and manager of the Indian national football team in the film and I play his wife. Virata Parvam with Rana Daggubati is also complete. He was quite keen for it to be a theatrical release, so that’s still being worked out. Family Man Season 3 will probably head into production around mid-2022. There are some other interesting projects that I have said yes to, but the formalities are yet to be worked out. Announcements should happen in some time. I should resume shooting for Quotation Gang in early February. Although the primary language is Tamil, this will be released as a pan-Indian film and has actors like Jackie Shroff and Sunny Leone also on board. Cyanide is yet to take off, as is Khaimara,” said Priya earlier.
