R Madhavan believes Saif Ali Khan will do a good job in Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha

Vikram Vedha became an instant fan favourite following its release in 2017 and earned R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi praise for their roles in the movie. The neo-noir thriller is getting a Hindi remake with Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan in the lead.

Madhavan has now said that he believes Khan will do a good job in the movie and could even steal his thunder.

In a recent interview with Mid-Day, he said, “When Saif puts his heart and soul into a role, he becomes a different monster. I am just keeping my finger crossed and hoping that my identity as Vikram from the Tamil film, is maintained.”

Madhavan also added that he is in touch with Khan and that he is a phenomenal actor and always does a brilliant job.

The Hindi remake of the movie, which is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and S. Sashikanth's YNOT Studios, finished the first schedule of filming in Abu Dhabi.

Vikram Vedha is a neo-noir action thriller that is inspired by the Indian folktale Baital Pachisi. The movie follows a cop, who works on his own terms and is tasked with taking out criminals in the city. When he comes face to face with a formidable gangster, some secrets start to unravel.

Pushkar–Gayathri duo, who wrote and directed the original Tamil movie is helming the Hindi remake as well. Apart from Khan and Roshan, Radhika Apte will also play an important role in the movie.
