De De Pyaar De 2 is looking for May 2024 release. For the same reason, the makers are looking at wrapping up the film by 2023-year end.

R. Madhavan plays the role of Rakul's father in the movie. He will go against his Shaitaan co-star Ajay in the movie. Directed by Anshul Sharma (the original was helmed by Akiv Ali), the film will also see an interesting cameo appearance. The name is kept under wraps for obvious reasons.
