R Madhavan starrer Rocketry: The Nambi Effect to stream on Amazon Prime Video on THIS date

R Madhavan starrer Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has been one of the highly anticipated films of 2022. The biographical drama movie, which was released theatrically on July 1, marks the directorial debut of the actor as well. The movie garnered appreciation from the critics as well as the audience. It was announced earlier that the film is going to be available on Amazon Prime Video, while now the makers have unveiled its OTT release date.

The OTT giant dropped a new poster of Rocketry and informed the audience that it is set to drop in Tamil along with Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada language dubs on July 26. Amazon Prime Video shared the latest poster on its official IG handle with an interesting caption that reads, "hop on for a space adventure #RocketryOnPrime, July 26 (sic)."

The extended cameo of Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya in the film's Hindi and Tamil versions respectively had been the talk of the tinsel town since the film was announced. Meanwhile, a few notable comments of Madhavan on both the actors won the fans' hearts. Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan himself asked the Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein actor if there is any part for him in Rocketry, while the latter confessed that there is one part but not pivotal, to which King Khan replied that he is even okay to be in the film just for a couple of minutes. 

Madhavan also informed that both Shah Rukh and Suriya did not charge him a penny to be in the movie. 

Apart from Madhavan in the titular role, Rocketry also ensembles a huge cast including Simran, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Muralidaran, Misha Ghoshal, Shyam Renganathan and Karthik Kumar among others.

The R Madhavan directorial is backed by Tricolour Films and Varghese Moolan Pictures 27th Entertainment. The release date and platform for the Hindi and English versions of the movie is yet to be out.
