Many cultural events took place today on the occasion of Rabindra Jayanti – the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore. Tagore songs, poems, and plays were staged throughout the day. Many people celebrate the day by listening to his songs and sharing his verses on social media.

In an interesting case, a post went viral with a song that has been credited to Tagore while it was penned by Srijato. A person shared Samarohe Eso He Paramotorto on social media claiming it to be a Rabindrasangeet. The song is, in fact, from Srijit Mukherji’s Ek Je Chilo Raja.

After finding the goof-up, Srijit shared the post on social media with a hilarious caption. The picture shared by Srijit shows the song's lyrics are written down with detailed information as follows: “Style: Tagore song, lyric, and music: Rabindranath Tagore, singer: Ishan Mitra and Shreya Ghoshal, album: Ek je Chilo Raja.”

Srijit captioned, “Gem from the internet. Srijato Bandyopadhyay is demanding extra payment after this. Indraadip Das Gupta is arranging for a party.”

This attracted a lot of laughter. Srijato commented on this post. He wrote, “You could not recognise my talent but eternity could.” Srijit advised him 'Now take care of your beard, and get yourself a wig.' Indraadip Das Gupta also jokingly commented that the venue of the party will be Tagore’s birthplace.

The song was written by Srijato and the music was composed by Indraadip Dasgupta. Srijit's post became viral and was shared several times.
