Sangay Tsheltrim, a Bhutanese actor, seems to be one lucky guy who has his first projects with the Khans of Bollywood. After starring with Salman Khan, he is now gearing up to share the screen with Shah Rukh Khan.
According to the latest reports, the actor has joined the ongoing shoot of the untitled Atlee movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara in lead roles. The shooting has begun in Pune and the actor flew in today. It is also being said that the actor will play a different role than his usual bodyguard/henchman role.
The movie marks the Bollywood debut of Atlee as well as Nayanthara. According to the buzz in B-town, south superstar Vijay will play a cameo role in the movie, tentatively titled ‘Jawaan’. The movie will also star several south Indian celebrities like Priyamani and Yogi Babu along with Sanya Malhotra, Marathi actress Rutuja, and Sunil Grover.
In Bhutan, Sangay is not only an actor but a gold medallist in the Asian Games and a symbol of the Indo-Bhutanese relationship. Sangay made his debut through the Bhutanese movie Singye (The Lion) for which he earned the Best Debut Actor award. But the actor gained fame after he appeared in Salman Khan starrer Radhe which was released earlier this year on Zee5.
Radhe, directed by Prabhu Deva, starring Salman Khan, Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda in lead roles, revolved around a 'war' between underworld don Rana, played by Hooda and undercover cop Radhe, played by Salman Khan. Sangay plays the role of Lota, right-hand henchman of Randeep Hooda’s character Rana. He gained fans and fame with his muscular and stoic getup and prowess in martial arts. Salman Khan also introduced him in a short Youtube video titled ‘Radhe: Meet Rana & Gang’. Although the movie was released after much hype on Eid, it failed to impress both critics and the audience miserably.
