Radha Krishna Kumar directs the film produced by UV Creations and T-Series

Radhe Shyam, the epic period romance, featuring Prabhas, Pooja Hegde in the lead, is easily one of the most anticipated releases this year. While it pushed its theatrical release from Sankranthi owing to Omicron fears, there was an uneasy suspense about its release date, with a few rumours even suggesting it would directly on OTT. Shunning such reports and joining the list of several big releases in March, Radhe Shyam will now release in theatres across the globe on March 11, the makers announced today.
"Witness the biggest war between love and destiny," the new, intense poster confirming the release date says, which also has a huge ship is drowing in an ocean. Is the team hinting at a tragedy? We'll know soon. Prabhas is cast as a lover boy Vikram Aditya, a palmist by profession. Apart from the leads, the film features Bhagyashree, Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi, Krishnam Raju, Jagapathi Babu in crucial roles.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi and Pramod under UV Creations and T-Series. Veteran editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, popular cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa are also part of the film's crew. S Thaman is composing the background score for the movie which has music by Justin Prabhakaran across all the South Indian versions of the film. The movie has been in the making for over three years and was extensively shot in Italy, London and India. Three songs from the Telugu version, Ee Raathale, Nagumomu Thaarale, Sanchari have captured the imagination of the public.
