Radhika Madan shoots in her hometown Delhi for her next; deets inside

Actress Radhika Madan who started her acting career in television and transformed into the Hindi film industry expresses her excitement about shooting in her hometown Delhi for the first time ever, in her nine years long career.

Beginning the next schedule of her film, Radhika has reached Delhi and shared her happiness of shooting in her city through an Insta story. The actress said, “9 years in the industry and this is the FIRST time I'm shooting in MY CITY! dilli!"

Radhika was last seen in the Vishal Bhardwaj-produced film Kuttey which was a multi-starrer film in which she worked with Tabu, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Naseeruddin Shah, and Arjun Kapoor among others.

Born and brought up in Delhi, Radhika started her career with the TV serial Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi Radhika made her debut in cinema with Pataakha followed by Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, Angrezi Medium, Shiddat, Monica, O My Darling and she has multiple projects in the pipeline. She also has been part of two anthologies, Ray and Feels like Ishq.

Radhika shot for and wrapped six projects last year that are likely to be released this year. Being a young actress she has managed to work with some of the wonderful filmmakers and senior actors that includes the late Irrfan Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, Gulshan Devaiah, and Harshvardhan Kapoor and will be seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Nimrat Kaur in upcoming films.

As the actress has a strong fanbase on social media, the fans are now looking forward to her upcoming film Kachhey Limbu also starring Rajat Barmecha and Ayush Mehra, which premiered at TIFF, Sanaa which also garnered international acclaim at Black Nights Film Festival, Homi Adajania’s next, Soorarai Pottru’s remake and Happy Teacher’s Day.
