“Raghav and I are overwhelmed with....”: Parineeti Chopra, Raghav Chadha pen down a sweet note for fans

A fairytale like no other! Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha got engaged on Saturday evening. This event was no less than a gala affair which saw several high-profile people in attendance including actor Priyanka Chopra, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, singer Mika Singh, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The engagement ceremony took place at the Kapurthala House located in a posh area in the national capital – the pictures of which have been doing rounds on social media for over two days now.

Thanking fans and well-wishers for showering love and blessings, the celebrity couple Raghav and Parineeti, has just now dropped a sweet letter for them on their social media handles.

It read, “Raghav and I are overwhelmed with the love and abundance of positivity we have received over the past few weeks, particularly on our engagement. We both come from different worlds, and it's amazing to know that our worlds also unite with our union. We have gained a bigger family than we could have ever imagined. We are so touched by everything we have read/ seen, and we cannot thank you all enough. We embark on this journey knowing that you all are standing with us. A special shout-out to our amazing friends in the media. Thank you for being there throughout the day and cheering for us. Love. Parineeti & Raghav”

Both Raghav and Parineeti have known each other since their graduation days. They studied separate courses in England. Recently, the relationship between the two got stronger after they met with their families in the national capital.

On their special day, Parineeti chose to wear a traditional white coloured attire designed by Manish Malhotra. Raghav, on the other hand, chose to wear an attire designed by his maternal uncle Pawan Sachdeva. If reports are to be believed, the couple will tie the knot in October this year.
