Parineeti and Raghav offered prayers at the temple in slippers. This has caught the attention of netizens, who questioned why the rules are different for common people and celebrities.

What exactly happened?

Noted paparazzi Viral Bhayani shared a video of Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra at the temple ahead of their wedding. The couple visited the Ujjain temple during the month of Shravan. Raghav and Parineeti, thus, had to sit in the Nandihal since entry inside the temple is prohibited during these months. They heard the Rudra Sukta and Shanti Path performed by the Brahmins.

Parineeti Chopra was seen in a pink saree and Raghav donned a yellow dhoti. He covered his upper half with a blessed red dupatta. They both wore slippers inside the premises of the temple. This has irked netizens, who could not believe that common people were not allowed shoes/slippers in the temple but Raghav and Parineeti were.

While the slippers became a topic of discussion, netizens did not stop at that. They questioned how the paps were allowed inside the temple to capture the celebrities. Many abuses were hurled towards both, especially Raghav. He was even accused of trying to enter BJP and ‘visiting the temple,’ many believe, was his first step in doing that.

Parineeti and Raghav got engaged in the Kapurthala House in New Delhi on May 13. They are reported to get married on September 25, 2023 at The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, Rajasthan. They will host a reception in Gurugram after their wedding. Both the celebs are yet to confirm their wedding.
