Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh will soon be back in his element in Santhosh Ananddram's Raghavendra Stores, a comedy-drama about singlehood and the testing pursuit of love & companionship. Jaggesh, who has created an unconquered niche for himself in Kannada cinema for his punchy dialogues, double entendres and mannerisms, will play a middle-aged man who is striving comically hard to get married and the heart of the film lies in this journey of his.

And to succinctly describe his plight, team Raghavendra Stores has released the first single from the soundtrack. Titled Single Sundara, the song perfectly captures the many escapades of the film's protagonist who is now evidently fed up with being single.

Sung by Vijay Prakash and Naveen Sajju, the lyrics of 'Single Sodara' have been written by director Santhosh Ananddram and Nagarjun Sharma with B. Ajaneesh Loknath composing the film's music. Rakshit Shetty unveiled the lyrical video earlier today, on April 12.

Jaggesh plays the role of a cook in the film who is part of a larger catering crew and the lyrical video features this world quite extensively. The 60-year-old actor's repartee with fellow crew members and the witty dialogues could well be the highlights of Raghavendra Stores - fans, too, have expressed a lot of excitement over the prospects. In fact, some of them have gone on to declare Single Sundara as the new 'anthem' for singles now!

Raghavendra Stores, a Hombale Films production, also stars Shwetha Srivatsav whose look in the film remains undisclosed. Dattanna, Ravishankar Gowda, and others, too, are part of the cast.

The film, which was initially meant to arrive in cinema halls in August of 2022, will now release in theatres on April 30. During this course, many speculated that the producers were keen on taking Raghavendra Stores straight to OTT but after much ado, Hombale Films announced that they have opted for a theatrical release after all.
