Hombale Films, after delivering two blockbusters in 2022 in K.G.F: Chapter 2 and Kantara, is arriving in the year 2023 with the comedy-drama Raghavendra Stores. Although the film does not boast the scale and the reach of some of the production house's marquee projects, Raghavendra Stores is touted as a 'content-rich', slice-of-life drama that will tickle our bones and also tug at our heartstrings.

Jaggesh plays the lead in this Santhosh Ananddram directorial and judging by the recently-released trailer, Raghavendra Stores will be a pleasant blend of rib-tickling humour and strong emotions that carry an important message regarding love and companionship after a certain age.

Netizens have begun showering praise on the trailer and one quick look at the YouTube comments suggests that the film has already won several hearts. "This is what we call quality. Jaggesh and Datthanna are the true entertainers ❤" wrote one user, referring to the camaraderie seen in the trailer between Jaggesh and Dattanna. "Another….blockbuster loading from hombale films," read another comment and on a similar note, a fellow YouTube user said, "Cinematography looks amazing and dialogues are clean.. another quality production from Hombale."

In short, netizens seem super impressed with what Raghavendra Stores promises to offer at the movies. Right from an engaging storyline to the cinematography and the overall look of the film, there's lots to look forward. And beyond all this is Jaggesh's trademark comic timing and quirks which are hopefully accentuated further by some smart writing and staging. Jaggesh, in a recent interview, said that the film will not only make the audience roll on the floor laughing but also prompts tears from them. "I was floored by the script that Santhosh Anaddram came to me with"

Shwetha Srivatsav returns to mainstream cinema with Raghavendra Stores (releasing in theatres on April 28) and she plays the female lead of the film with Achyuth Kumar, Ravishankar Gowda, and others, too, part of the cast. Ajaneesh B. Loknath has scored the music.
