Raghu Thatha, the recently released Tamil film starring actor Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, is all set to premiere on the streaming platform. The film is all set to premiere on ZEE5 on Sept 13. Alternatively, the film will also be available on OTTplay Premium.

Raghu Thatha is a 2024 Tamil film which is headlined by actor Keerthy Suresh. The film released in theatres on August 15 and is currently enjoying a theatrical run. Following this, the film will be available on ZEE5 from September 13 onwards. Raghu Thatha will also be available for streaming on OTTplay Premium.

The film is a period drama which revolves a woman called Kayalvizhi who is caught between patriarchy and principle. Keerthy Suresh plays an independent woman, who is fiercely against the imposition of Hindi language and wishes not to bend to the society’s norms.

Raghu Thatha is produced by Hombale Films, the production banner behind film franchise KGF and Salaar. The feature marks their foray into Tamil film production. Writer Suman Kumar, known for his work in The Family Man series, made his directorial debut with Raghu Thatha. The film has been shot by cinematographer Yamini Yagnamurthy who worked with Keerthy in Saani Kaayidham. Raghu Thatha has music scored by Sean Roldan and TS Suresh has handled the editing.
Raghu Thatha received mixed reviews upon its release. “Keerthy Suresh-starrer threads on multiple sub-plots blessed with opportunities, but misses a mark in a cohesive screenplay,” reads OTTplay review of the film.
Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh will be next seen in Revolver Rita in Tamil and has Baby John, her upcoming Hindi debut, opposite Varun Dhawan.
