Ragini Dwivedi is battered, bruised in the first look of survival thriller 'Sheela'

Ragini Dwivedi has joined the pan-India club with her upcoming Malayalam film Sheela, whose first look she unveiled a short while ago via social media. Describing the film as a 'spine chilling suspense thriller', Ragini shared the intriguing first-look poster which features the character she plays in a battered and bruised state. 

Quite suggestively, Ragini plays a meaty character in the film which marks her return to Malayalam cinema after a gap of more nearly 11 years. The actress would also thank the entire team behind the process and also her fans, who have stood by her through thick and thin.

Sheela, written and directed by Balu Narayanan, has been in the works for quite some time but it looks like things have finally aligned for the team, who are looking to soon release the trailer. Sheela has been shot simultaneously in both Malayalam and Kannada with the film featuring actors from both industries - Riyaz Khan is paired with Ragini while Avinash, Shobha Raj, Mahesh, Sreepathy and others play important roles.

According to reports, the film follows a young woman named Sheela (Ragini Dwivedi) who reaches Kerala looking for answers to a grave problem that occurs in Bengaluru. Filled with nail-biting moments, Sheela promises to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller.`
