Rahul Banerjee shares a throwback photo with Priyanka Sarkar and netizens can’t keep calm

Priyanka Sarkar and Rahul Arunodoy Banerjee were going through a rough divorce case just a few years back. However, Covid and the lockdown brought them close to each other. They have withdrawn the case for the sake of their son Shohoj. They started everything afresh. 

Rahul, nowadays, frequently shares his family photos on social media. This time, he shared an old photo, probably of the time of Chirodini Tumi Je Amar. They were sitting on the sofa and Priyanka held a teacup. Rahul wrote in the caption, “When the kid’s (Shohoj) parents were kids themselves…” 

Netizens showered love to the popular couple. A fan wrote, “Please work on a film featuring you together.” Another person wrote, “Be like that together forever. You are my childhood crush.” A third one wrote, “You look so sweet!” 

Rahul and Priyanka debuted with Raj Chakraborty’s Chirodini Tumi Je Amar. Then they came close to each other and decided to marry at a very young age, against their family's consent. The couple was so popular that their wedding in 2010 had a live telecast. They filed a divorce case in 2017. The hearing got delayed. Both of them started to be absent in the hearings from the end of 2022 and withdrew the case in 2023. 

Priyanka, who was last seen in Hoichoi's Lojja, recently said that they were together from a relationship angle. They decided to be together but wanted a bit more time. Their marriage did not work out but they were still friends and respected each other. They knew each other's weaknesses and hence both would try to rectify them, said Priyanka.
