Raiza Wilson reveals the name of her best co-star; details inside

Raiza Wilson, who was last seen in Vishnu Vishal's FIR, in an interaction with her fans, has revealed that GV Prakash Kumar is her best co-star. "He is super duper fun to work with. He has helped me a lot during takes. GV always cracks jokes and makes everyone feel comfortable and positive," read her post.

Raiza Wilson plays the female lead in Kadhalikka Yarumillai, directed by newbie Kamal Prakash. This film also stars Kausalya, in a pivotal role.

Kadhalikka Yarumillai, starring GV Prakash Kumar, is based on Kamal Prakash’s famous short film, Highway Kadhali. The film has been in the making for a long time.

Speaking about the title, director Kamal told Cinema Express, "The title is a wordplay on the iconic phrase, Kadhalika Neram Illai. It also goes well with the tagline 'The love story for Morattu Singles'."

While Guru Somasudaram plays the antagonist, the film features actors like Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu-fame Shah Ra, Kalakapovadhu Yaaru-fame Ramar, and Anandraj in supporting roles. Veteran comedy actor Senthil will also be seen in a special appearance.

Kadhalika Yarum Illai has its music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

Kamal was quoted in Cinema Express saying, "The film is a fantasy rom-com with a pinch of horror. The film's lead character is a boy who has been single all his life. He keeps longing for a relationship, and he finally falls in love with a girl in a fantasy situation. The entire story revolves around their travel through the night and obstacles faced by them during it!"

GV Prakash was the first choice for the role, even before the production house came on board, adds Kamal. "I strongly believed that he would be the best person to play the role. We wanted a fresh and interesting lead pair for the film. So we thought of casting Raiza as the female lead. I loved her performance in Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, and she also wanted to be a part of a unique script. Everything fell into place, after the script narration," the published report in Cinema Express read.

Raiza Wilson has done films like Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 and Varmaa. Her upcoming projects include The Chase, Poikkaal Kuthirai, Alice, and an untitled one with Sundar C.
