Raj Chakraborty and Subhasree Ganguly are one of the finest power couples in the Bengali film industry. They are in a happy marriage and encourage each other in every situation in public.
Raj and Subhasree were married in 2018 in Bawali Rajbari. Their first child Yuvaan was born in 2020. The second child Yaalini was born in November 2023. Raj recently came to the podcast of the YouTube channel of Sandesh TV. There he talked about fatherhood.
Raj said, “My life changed on the day I became a father. I am an emotional man. Now, my focus is clear. Previously, I had to give time to many people and I wanted to make friends with them. But now I don’t need them. My work and my family are everything. After I became a father for the second time, I think I don't need anything. I only want to keep my family happy.”
The director further added, “I know that I will earn money if I work. But I am not that greedy. I don't need much. I only want to be with Yuvaan and Yaalini. If I don't have work, I come back by 6.30 or 7 pm. I spend the morning with them.”
Raj also said, “The kids are so sweet that no complication or depression can affect me.”
While talking about his and Subhasree’s plans for parenting, Raj said, “We decided to make a good environment for them. They will learn from us. They will learn how we talk, who we mix with, and what clothes we wear. I don’t like disrespecting women. If Yuvaan learns it, it is a lot. There will be success and failure, but we will never impose anything on him. Yuvaan doesn’t watch shows on mobile phones. His mother is strict about it. He watches educational shows on TV, but doesn't touch phones.”
