While 21 are Indian content, including the second season of Indu, Gora, Sampurna and others, four are made in Bangladesh.

Raj Chakraborty will debut in the digital space with Hoichoi. The teaser was out on Monday: One of Bengal’s biggest directors making his first series with us! #hoichoiSeason6.And on Tuesday, at the grand announcement party of Hoichoi, announced his debut with DM Mallika. Meanwhile, Arindam Sil, who started his maiden OTT project with Zee5 with Satyajit Rays’ Feluda with Parambrata Chatterjee in lead, will also direct a series, Troilokyo, for the OTT platform. Besides, Srijit Mukherji, Dhrubo Banerjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Sahana Dutta, Syed Ahmed Shawki, Ashfaque Nipun and others will continue to direct web series. The platform has announced 25 titles – 21 from Kolkata and four from Bangladesh at its 6th-anniversary celebration at a city hotel on Tuesday.   

Subhashree Ganguly will debut in Debaloy Bhattacharya’s Indubala Bhater Hotel. There were announcements of renewal of a number of series. Indu, Gora and Karagar will have their second season. Besides Gora, Ritwick Chakraborty will be seen in Mr. Kolketa. While Anirban Chakrabarti’s Eken Babu will step into the sixth season, Srijit will bring Feluda’s next Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr. Anirban Bhattacharya will work as a creative director for the next chapter of Byomkesh, Byomkesh o Pinjrapol. Saurav Das and Debaloy Bhattacharya are back with the third season of Montu Pilot. Besides bringing the second seasons of Gora and Indu, Sahana Dutta will also present Gobhir Joler Maach with Swastika Dutta, Trina Saha, Ushasie Ray, and Ananya Sen. Besides, there is a spin-off of the Hello series, Hello Remember me with Paayel Sarkar and Ishaa Saha slated to be made. 

Four Bangladeshi productions are announced at the do. Two hit series, Chandal Chowdhury’s Karagar and Afrqan Nisho’s Kaiser, will see the second season and Mosharaf Karim’s Mahanagar will get the final season. Meanwhile, Amitabh Reza Chowdhury will present Bodh.
