Raj Chakraborty is all set to debut in Bollywood with his Hindi series Parineeta. This is based on his popular film Parineeta, though the story, script, and actors will be changed. The Bengali story centered around Ritwick Chakraborty and Subhasree Ganguly, where Mehul (Subhasree) will avenge the death of Babaida (Ritwick). The film's story ended there, and the series story will start from there. Parambrata Chatterjee and Aditi Pohankar are playing the protagonists in the series. The shooting started in a bonedi house in South Kolkata with Aditi, Laboni Sarkar, Ananya Sen, and Priti Sarkar.

The shooting took place in the house of the Talgur Shilpi Samabay Samiti near Deshapriya Park. Raj was spotted in a beige round-necked T-shirt and cropped pants. Laboni wore a Bengal handloom saree with untied hair and vermilion on her forehead. Her character was mourning. Raj looked at the monitor and then instructed others. Tulika Basu played Mehul's mother in the Bengali film. Laboni plays the role in the Hindi series. Ananya and Priti play two of Mehul's friends.

Raj will shoot at this house for three days – from Saturday to Monday. Shankar Chakraborty and Roshni Bhattacharya will join the team on October 20. Shooting will take place in North Kolkata and Howrah Bridge, and then in Darjeeling. Bollywood actors like Sumeet Vyas and Priyanshu Painyuli will also be seen in the series. Sumeet may play the antagonist. Priyanshu might play the silent admirer of Mehul. Adrit Roy will play the role in Bengali. Meanwhile, Barkha Bisht may also play a key character in the series.

Raj officially announced the series on social media on the day of Rathyatra. Gairik Sarkar is the DoP and Paramita Ghosh is the editor. Paramita is known for editing the film LSD2. A Marathi writer wrote the story.
