Raja Deluxe: Prabhas' next with Maruthi to star Malavika Mohanan and Sreeleela?

After a series of heavy duty films that involve extensive efforts and are taking a lot of time to be made, Prabhas feels it's time to do a quickie. Yes, we're referring to the Baahubali actor's project with Maruthi, the collaboration that started hogging the limelight since the beginning of this year. While the director Maruthi didn't deny the news completely, he had said that an official announcement about the same would be made at the right time.

Reports suggest that the official announcement is set to happen on March 18, i.e. Holi. If all goes well, Raja Deluxe will be the first horror comedy in the career of Prabhas. The pre-production work of the film has reportedly begun and rumours are doing the rounds that two actresses have been more or less finalised for the project. Pelli SandaD, Dhamaka actress Sreeleela and Master's leading lady Malavika Mohanan are in contention to play the two leading ladies in Raja Deluxe.

Raja Deluxe is touted to have three heroines on the whole and names like Mehreen too are doing the rounds for the other female lead. Malavika Mohanan is on an all-time career high after Master and is also awaiting the release of Dhanush's Maaran on Disney+ Hotstar soon. Sreeleela is in talks for some of the biggest projects that are being made in the tinsel town and she's expected to be the next big thing in Telugu cinema.

Prabhas, Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam hits theatres on March 11 while the star's Salaar and Adipurush are also expected to have a release in 2022 itself. Prabhas is currently shooting for Nag Ashwin's Project K alongside Deepika Padukone.
