After The Family Man, if you're craving to meet another spy with a wicked sense of comic timing, you've got to place your bet on Raja Vikramarka. Actor Kartikeya Gummakonda, last seen in the drama Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, turns a suave NIA officer with Raja Vikramarka, an action comedy that marks the directorial debut of Sri Saripalli, a former associate of filmmaker VV Vinayak. The film produced by 88 Rama Reddy is gearing up for a theatrical release on November 12. Ahead of the same, the makers have launched the theatrical trailer on Monday.

Raja Vikramarka is about an NIA officer, who needs to quickly learn the ropes of his profession, and has to prevent a terrorist attack in the city, taking the help of a police officer. The film deals with his love story (Tanya Ravichandran plays his love interest), challenges on the field and his funny interactions with his superiors, colleagues at work. The action and the comedy elements in the trailer have been balanced to perfection, where both the plot, execution and the entertainment value haven't been compromised.

The on-screen camaraderie between Kartikeya and Tanikella Bharani is a delight to watch, while Pasupathy, Sai Kumar are cast in roles that have shades of grey. Kartikeya and Tanya Ravichandran make for a good-onscreen pair. Sudhakar Komakula, in a fierce, serious role, is playing a cop for the second time in his career after the blockbuster Krack. Harsha Vardhan's spontaneity and excellent timing ensures a few hilarious moments in the trailer. Surya, Gemini Suresh, Jabardasth Naveen are cast in supporting roles. 

PC Mouli is the cinematographer of the film for which Prashanth R Vihari has scored the music. Adi Reddy T presents the film with Jesvin Babu has been roped as an editor. Ramajogayya Sastry and Krishna Kanth have penned the lyrics for the album. Raja Vikramarka is releasing in theatres on the same day as Pushpaka Vimanam, starring Anand Deverakonda, Geeth Saini and Saanve Megghana.
