So, when both these former Bigg Boss personalities come together for a show, which already demands a battle, it is easy to wonder whether a fight between them is genuine or made-up. Exactly that happened when netizens came across a viral video of Rajat Dalal vs. Asim Riaz.

Rajat Dalal and Asim Riaz were out to promote the new Amazon MX Player show Battleground, which is when a fight broke out between them. Asim pushed Rajat, who was angered and taken by surprise. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan had to interfere to stop the fight. Meanwhile, Rubina Dilaik, also a part of the event, tried to maintain her dignity despite the ugly situation unfolding.
Is the fight real or promotional?
Honestly speaking, only the viewers can decide whether the fight is real or promotional. Many have called it a 'fake fight' owing to a lot of factors, the biggest being the very name of the show being promoted. It is also to be noted that Asim Riaz and Rajat Dalal have now become the faces of such controversy, given their Bigg Boss and stints outside of the show. Thus, the video does not come as a surprise per say. So, even if the fight were to be real, many did not buy it.
Why are netizens not-that-affected with the fight?
The viewers have all grown up watching WWE. There wasn't much of a difference between the press conferences for those and the Battleground conference. Fights are normalized because it is the concept that demands there be fights. Moreover, among the few points to note are that Asim got popular by fighting with Siddharth Shukla on Bigg Boss 13, and has tried to do that since. Further, if a wrestler like Rajat Dalal got pushed away with just one touch from Asim, the fight appears staged more than real, even if it was probably Dalal holding back and Riaz doing the opposite of that.
